About Us
Once a daycare owner in Spencer, Oklahoma with a small gardening hobby; now a farmer whose certified organic produce is sold in Whole Foods & Natural Grocers in the Oklahoma City metro area.
It all started when Rochelle King was working in her barber shop, and mentioned to a client how she wanted to grow fresh fruits & vegetables for the children at the day care in which she owned. Little did she know, her client just so happened to work under the United States Department of Agriculture; he informed her about the plasticulture program at the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
Though King knew very little about farming or growing produce when she began, she sought out opportunities to educate herself such as becoming a master gardener through Oklahoma State University, attending workshops, conferences and reading.

Practices
With the help of Micah Anderson at the ODAFF, King created her garden using plasticulture — a method of growing crops with the assistance of plastic and irrigation.
