About Us
Founded in 2011 by Chef Chris Becker, Della Terra Pasta was created from Becker's passion for fine food and delicious pasta and inspired by the Great Plains of the Midwest. Della Terra, meaning of the earth, is artisanal, handmade pasta made with durum wheat as well as other select specialty wheat varieties. Della Terra is committed to sourcing high quality, non-gmo ingredients. There are no preservatives or additives in any of Della Terra's pastas. The pasta is created in small batches with cold water, kneaded, and slow-dried up to 36 hours depending on the pasta type and time of year. All the fresh pasta is drawn through bronze dies, which has a visibly rough appearance which allows the pasta's porous and coarse surface to grip and meld with the sauce.
