"It all started with a scraggly Holy Basil (Tulsi) plant I bought from a vendor at a local bazaar.
She informed me it was actually in the mint family and was considered sacred in India. Ok, sold. I gave this new little treasure a chance in my garden and watched her thrive! The leaves emitted an intoxicatingly sweet tutti frutti aroma. The first cup of tea with her fresh leaves was transformative and led me down a rabbit hole of adaptogens, ancient botanicals and tisanes.

I've been able to combine my knowledge and love of botany, gardening, tea, mushrooms, natural wellness, anthropology and folk wisdom to create Dark Moon Tearoom.
